Synopsis

Corruption. It's not a crime, it's a profession.

Jack Sweeny is a young man just trying to get a job. Turned down at another bank due to his criminal record he meets a girl, Rebecca, but also witnesses a 3 way shootout between 2 groups of criminals and the cops over a suitcase containing perfect plates for counterfeiting bank notes. Jack grabs the plates and attempts to sell them via his friend Zippo. However with at least three different groups ready to kill him for the plates, Jack finds it's just one double cross after another.

Боевичок из разряда "сразу на видео" с кастом моей мечты. Лучшие здесь – Эрик Робертс и Патрик Килпатрик, но и остальные не отстают (разве что Джеймс Маршалл из "Твин Пикса" совсем деревянный). Берковичи, снимавший до этого дурацкие ужастики вроде этого или этого, собрал самых лучших людей, и хотя бы за это его стоит поблагодарить. А также за сцену, где Майкл Мэдсен просыпается среди кучи голых баб.
An excellent cast of B-actors including William Forsythe, Michael Madsen, Ice-T, Dennis Hopper and Eric Roberts.

Especially Eric Roberts performance is worth the watch alone while Dennis Hopper acts like an angry Dennis Hopper as Ice-T performs like Ice-T has anger issues.

This was an enjoyable 'stolen currency plates' crime drama with everyone double-crossing each other leading to a rather explosive finale.

I have to admit I am biased though since I carry a huge soft spot for Eric Roberts who I feel is more talented than his sister Julia, ever since I watched Runaway Train.
