How To Draw A Castle Tower
It's time to escape into fantasy land! In this tutorial we'll learn how to draw a castle that has a slight Disney-feel to it. This is a great tutorial suitable for a beginner skill level.

Tutorial steps: 7
Step 1
Let's begin by drawing a curve for the ground that our castle will sit on. Then draw a square for the doorway. Now we'll add an oval-like shape that ends at the ground curve line.
Step 2
Now let's add a rectangle on the left of the square and add a second rectangle with a triangle on top for the right tower, sitting on the right side of the castle. Now let's add a second door outline to create the door frame edge. Finally let's add the castle battlements, which are the blocks on top of the door wall. See reference image.
Step 3
In this step we'll add the left battlements on top of the left rectangle. To the left of this wall, we'll add another rectangle and triangle on top to be our second tower. On the far right let's add a new rectangle and more battlements on top.
Step 4
Our castle is really taking shape now! Now we'll add the two tallest towers in our castle. Draw a rectangle and triangle on top directly above the doorway pointing up from the battlements. Then add the second tower with another rectangle and triangle so it sits just behind the other tower.
Step 5
Now let's add some details. In this step we'll add some scattered rectangles for our bricks. This shows the brickwork of the castle. You don't need to draw a lot, but just enough to show the castle is made of bricks. Once you've done that, add a few window holes by drawing arcs with a flat rectangle for the window ledge.
Step 6
It's time to add the finishing touches. Draw some horizontal lines one under inside our door shape we had drawn in step 1. Now let's add some wavy flags on top as the final touch.
Step 7
Our castle is complete! Now you can take it a step further and shade or colour in your castle, even add some trees and horses around it. Most of all, have fun!
